Who we are

This website is run by Quipu Software Solutions, #197, JP Nagar, Hubli, Karnataka, India ("Quipu", "we", "us"). For personal data collected through this website, we are the Data Fiduciary under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the "DPDP Act").

What we collect

• When you fill in a form: your name, phone number, the product you are interested in and, if you choose to give them, your company, email address and message. We also record the page you sent it from and any campaign tags in the link you followed (for example utm_source).
• When you browse: if analytics is switched on, Google Analytics 4 collects information such as the pages you visit, your device and browser, and your approximate location, using cookies.
• For security: our hosting and security tools record technical data such as IP addresses to protect the site from abuse.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry, arrange a demo, send a quote and support you as a customer.
• To understand how the website is used and improve it.
• To keep the website secure and meet our legal obligations.

We process form data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit the form, and otherwise only for purposes the law allows. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Only with service providers who help us run this website and our business, such as our web host, email delivery service, Google Analytics and our customer records system. They may process it only on our instructions.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to respond and follow up, and for as long as you are a customer. After that we delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct, complete, update or erase it, withdraw your consent at any time, and nominate another person to exercise your rights. Withdrawing consent does not affect what we did before you withdrew it.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed by Google Analytics 4 to measure visits, and only when analytics is switched on. We do not use advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Children

This website is meant for businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
